The Students Union operates two main bars, each with their own distinct personality. The Bars are both a stones throw away from all the student halls of residence, and during the day are a great place to relax and have a bite to eat. Then at night, they come alive with all sorts of events and parties, you can even hire the spaces for your societies fundraisers.

The bar in Greenwich is on King William Walk, minutes away from the University campus, and is the perfect place to relax between lectures.
Latitude has just benefitted from a new makeover; big sofas to sink into, a large screen T.V as well as a new stage area with a quality sound system for bands and DJs in the evenings.
Bar Latitude have always got something lined up for entertainment, from touring bands, to DJ nights catering for all tastes in music. Keep your eyes peeled for notices around campus and on this website for upcoming events.
The bar has a resident chef and a full menu of food and drinks on offer, and is well renowned for its home cooked food. Food is served from 11am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Grab anytthing from a simple burger or sandwich to nutritious salads and fresh homemade meals. There are also Halal options available.
If you’re feeling competitive, we have a separate pool room with 2 American and 2 standard pool tables. There is also a romo for hire near to the bar, available for Sports and Society meetings/events.

Sparrow's Farm
Open all day every day from 11am (9am on Wednesdays)
Sparrow’s Farm is located within the university campus next door to Charlton Athletics’ training ground and just a short walk across the sports fields behind the student village at Avery Hill. It is being newly refurbished for September with new decor, lighting and sound systems! Check out our Blog for more details.
The Bar is a very traditional and welcoming venue, with a large beer garden where BBQ’s are held during the summer. Sparrow’s boasts six plasma screens which show all the sports games you would expect, as well as all premiership plus games. In addition there is also a Big Screen for more popular games. Sparrows also have a late licence on Fridays and Saturdays so you can expect some great parties throughout the year.
We run regular events as well as one-off themed and promotional nights. There is also a licensed room for hire, available for Sports and Society meetings/events.
