The Events Society
The overall aims of the Events Society are to provide high quality entertainment in cost effective ways, to University of Greenwich Students in order to enhance their student live experience. Also, to enable those interested in events management to learn, develop and practice their organisational skills.
Our Objectives
- To increase the communication links between the society and the students across campuses
- To provide a more diverse social interaction between the students
- To work with Resident Assistance within the halls for promotion of the events
- To create networks with other universities to provide cross university gathering events
- To have regular society meetings every week to exchange ideas and set targets
- Do Market Research across the campuses to identify what sort of events the students are interested in
- To encourage all members to develop an interest in events with mentoring opportunities provided by the senior members
- To work in collaboration with student union sabbatical officers in order to create a more successful entertainment scene within the union
- To uphold equal opportunities and promote good community spirit within our university and enjoy being part of the Society
