The Muslim Society is a well established society which has been active on campus for many years.

Aims and Objectives

The Muslim Society aims to present Islam in its true and balanced form and get involved in almost every aspect of university life. The mission of the Muslim Society is to discharge the collective obligations of Muslim students at the University of Greenwich. The Society shall:

Arrange for an environment in which Muslims can practise Islam, specifically:

· Facilitate daily prayer

· Hold congregational prayers at the appropriate times

· Facilitate the Ramadan fast

· Raise the awareness and improve understanding of Islam

· Promote brotherhood and unity amongst all Muslims at the university

· Promote friendly relations and mutual understanding between Muslims and all others who are not hostile to Muslims

Regular Activities

The Society organises many regular study circles, lectures and prayers. Friday prayers are organised on all three campuses during term time, please visit our website for more information.
