Healthy mind, healthy body = happy student?
Something to think about:
About 1 in 4 of us will experience mental illness during our lives.
We’d expect about 1 in 10 students to have a long-term health problem or disability that affects their day-to-day living or their studies.
We don’t know how many Greenwich students are caring for family members or other people who are disabled.
We do know that health, disability and caring responsibilities add to some of the obstacles that Greenwich students have to overcome to get their degrees.
And any of us can have a sudden health problem that affects us.
We want you to know about the support available to help you manage your health.
You can always speak to us in confidence if you want to find out more. Just contact your local Students’ Union Adviser.
